July 25, 2010 (3:00 – 5:00) Pool SCUBA Refresher Class and Certification Napa Valley College swimming pool with Roger Haseltine as your instructor. Take the time to do all those little tasks that you don’t do in the ocean, like trim out your weights for perfect buoyancy. Cost: $35.00 per person, which includes tanks, equipment, and weights if you need them. Our dive club has been invited to appear on the local TV 28 show “Newest Arty Party Adventure” on September 16th, 2009. I recently met with Arty when he visited our booth at the Napa Downtown Chef’s Market and he thought we were an interesting enough group to invite us to be on his show! I’ll be doing an interview and would like to show a dive video. So for all you videographers, please submit a 2-4 minute video DVD to me and we will choose one to take with us. Also, I need one other person to go with me on the air. If you are interested please let me know.
The show will broadcast live on Wednesday September 16th from 6:00 – 7:30 pm on local Napa channel 28. It will be re-broadcast on Saturday September 19th at 10:00 pm if you miss the live show. The show will also be archived and can be viewed anytime at www.napavalleytv.org.
