Hi Napa Divers,
I am now a candidate for Director - Ward 3 of the Napa County Regional Parks & Open Space District. Ward 3 is the same geographical area as the Supervisory District 3 of Supervisor Diane Dillon. Any of you who are in District 3, especially in the North County, St. Helena, or Calistoga, who would be willing to help me by displaying a sign or introducing me to your friends and neighbors, please let me know. Directions: Take First Street and that turns into Brown’s Valley Road. To Stay on Browns Valley Road you have to make a left turn just beyond the Browns Valley Market. Left on Buhman (stop sign), Left at the second street — Twin Oaks, Left at the third street — David Drive, Take the third driveway on the left with a purple and yellow mail box.
Their house is at the top of the hill.

Roger will be at Breakwater with an Open Water Class on Saturday, July 26 and Sunday, July 27. If anyone would like to join him in Monterey to do some shore diving… come on down!

For the July meeting, we’re pleased to announce that we have a guest speaker! His name is Ron Elliott.
In the book ‘Blue Water Gold Rush’ Tom Hendrick called him “Mr. Farallon Islands” on page 250. Ron lives in Marin County and regularly dives the Farallons for urchins and to film/video Great White Sharks. He will be showing two videos. The first is a 9 minute clip of a documentary that is being put together about his diving off the Farallons. The second is a 17 minute video a friend of his put together of Whites. It should be an exciting evening.

A few additional notes:
There was a bit of a mix-up with the order for Women’s T-Shirts which we’ll need to fix at the July meeting. So, if you ordered a Women’s T-Shirt, you’ll want to be at the July 14 meeting to make sure you get the size, fit, and color that you intended (or would like) to order. Colleen Topper will be there to assist. Men… no worries!
