Sonoma county resident Tom Kendrick was a California sea urchin diver for 22 years. His diving career originated from his search for secret surf spots at the Channel Islands, and took him from Santa Barbara to Mexico, Oregon, Washington, Alaska, northern California, and the shark-infested Farallon Islands. His book, Bluewater Gold Rush, has been featured in California Diving News, The Surfer’s Journal, National Fisherman, Historical Diving Magazine, and the PBS television show, Huell Howser’s California’s Gold. A screenplay is currently in production.

Hello from K. Noyes! I wanted to make the Dive Club meeting but, I was just getting over this awful flu-bug and didn’t want to share it with everyone! I won’t be able to attend Club meetings until March since I’ll be in Costa Rica the first part of February. I plan on doing a couple of dives at Cano Island.

Maldives Aggressor

The all-new Maldives Aggressor is under construction in Bordum, Turkey. The 115 ft. all-steel yacht will accommodate 20 passengers and 10 crewmembers.
The 7-day charters will depart every Sunday with 10 to 14 day charters available upon request. The Maldives features 3 distinctly different types of wall and reef diving; inside the atolls, outside the atolls and inside the channels or passes with large schools of White Snapper, Trevally Jacks, Barracuda, Batfish, and Sharks. Mantas and Whale Sharks are commonly seen year-round in the crystal clear waters with temperatures ranging between 78 and 84 degrees.
The word Maldives translates to “Realm of Thousand Islands” with only 200 inhabited islands allowing the new Maldives Aggressor to reach new unexplored areas.
Aggressor Fleet has teamed up with Giorgio Rosi who is a leader in the Maldives dive industry and has operated live-aboards there for over 15 years. His vast knowledge of the area will provide Aggressor customers with the very best diving the Maldives has to offer.
